- Click "Connect QuickBooks".You'll be taken to Intuit's secure authorization page.
- Sign in to Intuit and approve access.Choose the company you want CoController to work on.
- You're in.The Close Center loads your live books — run any agent over your real data.
What access does CoController request?
- QuickBooks accounting data — to read your bills, invoices, and ledger for the close agents.
- Basic Intuit profile — your name and email, so we know which Intuit user connected.
That's it. We can't move money, run payroll, or change your Intuit login. The only thing CoController ever writes back is recategorizing still-uncategorized lines — always with your explicit approval first.
Disconnecting
One click on the Disconnect button in the app revokes our access at Intuit immediately and deletes your tokens from our servers. You can also revoke access anytime from within QuickBooks under Apps → My Apps.
